Search Curriculum Maps by Tag or Keyword

This is part of our Curriculum Solution. You will not have this option if you are a free user.

Admins, curriculum developers, and teachers can search through their curriculum maps by content keywords or tags. Tags are set by the curriculum creators to group curriculum maps by shared topics. A keyword search will display all results for particular words or short phrases within the curriculum map titles and any content fields within the curriculum map.

Use the keyword and tag search to align your curriculum not just from a standards perspective but from a curricular content and skill perspective as well.

  1. From the main Curriculum view, enter your search term into the search bar.
  2. Press Enter to search for your keywords.
    1. Using the keyword option will display results for curriculum maps that contain that search word or phrase in the curriculum map title, unit titles, or any content fields within the curriculum map. Matching unit content will be highlighted for visibility.

  3. Alternatively, select a tag associated with the search term.
    1. Selecting a tag option will display results for all curriculum maps with that particular tag used by the curriculum creator. You can search for multiple tags to narrow your results.
  4. Use Publish Status or Recent Activity to narrow your results.

You can also use the search feature while viewing a curriculum map to highlight results for your keyword search in the unit titles and unit content.

Using the keyword search while comparing curriculums will highlight results in all viewed maps, which is useful for determining if the appropriate content is being covered.
