How do I reactivate an account in an institution?

This is part of our Chalk Solutions. You will not have this option if you are a free user.

This article will guide you on how to reactivate an account that has been previously deactivated in an institution. This could be due to a teacher returning to an institution they worked at previously. 

Step 1:

Open the Admin menu at the top of the page, then click Organization Settings.

Step 2:

You will automatically be taken to the Users tab. Locate the user you wish to reactivate, then hover your mouse over the Deactivated status on the right-hand side. Click on the Reactivate button that appears.

Step 3:

In the pop-up, be sure to check the warning tags. Once you've agreed to the each section, select the Yes, Reactivate button. 

Step 4:

The user's account will now be in an Active status, meaning that the user can once again log into their account and use it. 

Note: You can also select multiple accounts using the checkboxes on the left-hand side, then choose Reactivate from the bulk actions at the top of the user list:
