How do I set up my Chalk parent/guardian account?

Please note: Chalk Guardian Accounts are only available for parents whose children are in schools subscribed to Chalk. Learn more about how to bring this to your child's school.

To set up your Chalk Parent/Guardian account, you will need to have first received an invite email, as well as, a printout of your child's Student Access Code from your child's school. If you didn't receive an access code, click here.

You can choose to set up your account on either web or mobile. However, you will only need to set up your account once. After it has been set up on one platform, you can simply log in on the other one.

Step 1:

Click on the LINK WITH YOUR CHILD'S ACCOUNT USING ACCESS CODE button in the email sent to you by your child’s school.

Step 2:

Enter your name and create a password to sign up for a Chalk Parent/Guardian account. Click Continue

If you would like to edit your email address, please contact your child’s school, as they will need to send you an invitation to authenticate your new email.

Step 3:

Enter your child’s Student Access Code and click Verify Code.

Step 4:

Once the Student Access Code is verified, you should now be able to see your child’s grades, assignments, and attendance record.

 Note: If you have multiple children, you can add them to your account and/or view their profiles once logged in.

Scan or type in the Student Access Code from the letter provided by the school. Contact your school if you have not received this letter.
