What if a student has lost their Access Code?

This is part of our Assessment Solution. You will not have this option if you are a free user.

If a student loses their Student Access Code, they will need to get another copy from you directly. This article will guide you on how to reprint an individual Student's Access Code. 

Note: This is not something that Chalk employees can generate through chat or reaching out to support as it is a security risk for Student information. If a student reaches out to support, they will be informed to ask their School Admin for further help.

There are two options for how to reprint a Student Access Code.  

Option 1 - Users Tab

Step 1: 

Select the Users tab in the Admin Menu.

Step 2:

Select the Students tab on the right-hand side. 

Step 3: 

Next to the student's name, under the Action column, select the Print Access Code key. This will allow you to reprint the Access Code PDF for the individual student.

Option 2 - Classlists Tab

Step 1: 

Select Classlists from the side Admin Menu. 

Step 2:

In the Student Roster, hover over the Student who requires their Access Code. Select the Edit button that appears under the Action column.

Step 3:

In the pop-up that appears, select the Generate Access Code button for a PDF of the Student Access Code. 

Note: As shown by the arrow in the screenshot above, you may also resend the Student Invite email from this location.
