Track Curriculum Map Standards Usage

This is part of our Curriculum Solution. You will not have this option if you are a free user.

Once you have added standards to your curriculum map, you may want to view the overall progress of the standards usage for your map.

  1. After you have selected to edit a map of your choice from the main menu, click on the Standards tab.
    • This will bring you to the Standards page. From here, you can review a breakdown of all the standard sets you have added to the units on this map, and for each of those standards sets, how many of those standards you have assigned and to what units and fields you have assigned them to. This is helpful when creating your map to ensure you address all the intended standards for this subject.
    • The columns will display information about how many standards are in use anywhere on the curriculum map and are broken down further by which fields they appear in.
    • Standards that are in use on a given field type will be noted with a filled-in box that matches the color of the unit they appear in, whereas standards that are not in use will present a grey box for that field type. You can hover your cursor over each box to see which unit it corresponds to.
  2. Use the menu to filter the standard sets, units, and fields you wish to review.
    • Only field types that support associating standards will be displayed.
  3. Use the search bar to narrow the displayed standards by either code or keyword.
    1. Narrow your results by choosing All Standards, In Use, or Not In Use.
    2. Clicking on a listed standard will expand the row to display the description of the standard and the names of the units it appears in.
    3. From this view, you can click on a selectable field type within a unit to view that unit field's contents and make edits as necessary.
